Sins of the Father

And of the Acharya, blessed are his footsteps, it is known:
His eyes, once the blue of a troubled sky, hold every piece of creation which gives color to the stars; eyes which have watched and seen and understood.
His are the eyes which perceived the dangers waiting beyond the Rift, before the closing.
His is the duty to remember the sacrifices of the Six, who fought and fell and now find rest. He contained the Blight of Thoiral, preventing its spread beyond Serfahlen. He Silenced the Taer’shal uprising at Dor’Atehn. He has made gentle the passing of a thousand thousand Magi, and, should he deign to speak of it, could recite each name.
His is the Song, and the memory of the Song, which has persisted for all of time, which guards us and guides.
And blessed are we that he sings.
Of the Acharya, blessed are his footsteps, it is known.
